Born in Belo Horizonte Brazil in the mid 70s, I spent a big part of my life being exposed to different types of musical influences. But it was in the mid 90s that I started expanding my musical vocabulary to tendencies that I never imagined existed. 
 
Today I not only understand and am able to play the most recent trends from the mainstream Top40 hits but I can also focus in finding gems from the past in jazz, bossa-nova, samba, reggae, hiphop, soul, funk, afrobeat, salsa, world music in general as well as contemporary fusions and rhythms that are beyond what you hear in mainstream stations.  
 
I live in San Luis Obispo, California, which puts me in a cool spot between huge markets such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
